My car's been making weird noises in the last week. Today the brakes weren't working very well. Earlier I got to help out at the trailer court and tonight I get to have a spontaneous girls night and these are priceless in comparison.
In light of the past post, here's to something more uplifting...The grace of God in everyday rhythms of life.

In light of the past post, here's to something more uplifting...The grace of God in everyday rhythms of life.
I am grateful:
- For opportunities to be involved in my neighborhood. To be familiar with places and people that help me be better invested in the community I am in.
- For living with a family who are so kind and giving and let me be a part of their lives. From inviting me to share in their meals to rescuing me when I accidentally lock myself out of my car to making sure I had a family birthday celebration, they are a testament of gracious generosity and ready/willing service.
- For jobs that allow me the freedom and time to pursue other things and offer me time to rest and reflect. My tendency is to wish I could be more "busy" but I'm learning that my identify does stem in "doing" and that maybe, just maybe there is something to be said for just simply "being."
- For continued learning opportunities through Bible study groups, podcasts, documentaries, books and being a part of a Relational Wisdom Course
- For budding relationships with solid, wonderful people. How I stumbled into such a community of Jesus loving people with such a heart to put action to their words is something that still amazes me and draws and keeps me here in Billings right now.
- For God's care and provision. I have all that I need. No more, no less. That I do not need to fear and worry how I will get through day to day is something not to be taken for granted.
- For those "sprinkles" on the cake. Those added blessings where in God's goodness He not always takes care for my daily needs but He gives me perks and things to enjoy and look forward to. Like game/movie nights, Fall Festivals , hiking, free Y membership (early morning bootcamp with friends!), cozy days of reading and Netflix, baking experiments, and an espresso maker to make good coffee on....
